Introducing Homeschool Panda!
Hi guys! A few months I talked about homeschool planning in proactive mode. In step #3, I said that once we’ve researched our options the main goal is to plan things out…and for that we need a planner of sorts.
***UPDATE: Giveaway entry ends October 21, 2017 8:00 PST***
Although I’m not overkill with planning I do like to know what I’m doing (especially with my high schooler) so that it’s easier to know what’s happening with her transcripts.
There are so many homeschool apps out there nowadays (I reviewed one not too long ago which is going through its kickstarter stage) and I still think it’s a pretty ingenious idea. Homeschoolers are in need of on-the-go techie resources and apps to help us with planning and connection. BUT…nothing I’ve discovered so far comes close to what I’ve found with Homeschool Panda just in the past few weeks.
There are so many great features about this program. For details about how this planning system is working for us so far, take a look at my review on YouTube to see how it works for me in planning out my high schooler’s weekly schedule and how I’ll be using it for transcript info.
Plus…there’s a giveaway, so be sure to stay tuned to the end of the video!
In a nutshell, I absolutely love:
- the ease by which I can enter my daughter’s courses for the school year (or semester) all on one page
- that I can see all of her courses at a glance using a variety of calendar features (daily, weekly, monthly)
- I can edit the courses easily
- it’s easy to assign courses to specific students
- I can add additional notes and drag in extra content for assignments like videos and other resources
