You might recall that a few podcast shows back, I did an episode on The Writing Process- Helping Reluctant Writers.  Since then, we’ve taken a little hiatus for the holidays, but now that school is back in session we are planning to pick back up where we left off with writing.

Today my guest post on Creative Writing Ideas for Kids went live.  If your children have been struggling with sitting down to write, then I know the feeling- and I have some suggestions that might help you make the writing process just a little bit easier for you.

Writing hasn’t always been an easy feat in our homeschool, and we’ve had our share of struggles with sticking it out.  What I’ve found is although narrative and expository writing has its place, there is nothing like a little foot-loose freedom of creative writing.

Since kicking our writing experiences up a notch was my final goal, I figure- why not start with a type of writing that will give my daughter limitless opportunities to express herself?…
