The NeuYear calendar is exactly what I’ve been looking for.

When I found out about the innovative NeuYear wall calendars, I just had to try it out for myself.

I’m a planner and calendar kind of gal, plus I’m a total visual person, so finding a wall calendar that was big enough, wide enough, and spacious enough for me to plan the entire academic school year at a glance would be a huge benefit to me.

I’m not much into paper calendars that I have to hang with a hook and markup with white-out when I need to change something on it.

I usually end up using the typical 8 1/2 by 11 planner and calendar sheets and filling up my notebook binder with them.

But it doesn’t help that my family can’t see what’s going on in my binder, so we’re never on the same page.  Literally.

Neu Year is helping to change that.

Benefits of the NeuYear calendar

It’s a big calendar.

This means it’s spacious and I have plenty of room to write our homeschool theme topics and special days like fieldtrips.

I can view my entire academic year at a glance.

If you’re a visual person like me, you will love that you can see your entire homeschool year planned out- in front of you on your wall.  No more having to flip through the pages of my binder and try to mentally visualize the year.  It’s all right there in front of me.

The dry erase coated calendar allows me mark up my calendar and erase when needed.

This is important.  With school planning, I’m bound to plan for something that I later realize we need to shift around.  A conflict between a dental appointment and a planned fieldtrip to the zoo  usually means I whip out my white-out or pencil eraser.

Not with the dry erase calendar.  Swipe it off with my finger, re-write, and I’m done.

And if I ever want the paper surface option, I can choose that too.  But I personally like dry erase better.

I can choose between the horizontal or vertical orientation.

One neat thing about this calendar is that it’s a two-in-one.  I like the horizontal (landscape) view the best, but if I flip it over, I have the vertical orientation, which is great for mounting on doors or smaller wall spaces.

No gaps

With no gaps between months, the calendar days flow better.  Again, I need lots of space to pencil in (or “marker in”) our goals for the year.

It’s pretty.

That might sound a bit vain, but it is an attractive color and looks great on my wall.
