About

Demetria Zinga is the founder of Christian Homeschool Moms, a platform dedicated to equipping and encouraging homeschooling families with faith-based support, practical strategies, and educational resources. With over 17 years of homeschooling experience, she has guided her children through every stage of learning—from early education to high school. She successfully graduated her eldest daughter from their homeschool, who went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in music, while her youngest was homeschooled through 10th grade.

Beyond homeschooling, Demetria brings a wealth of expertise as a classroom and piano teacher, tutor, and education advocate. She is passionate about helping families navigate both homeschooling and traditional education, offering after-school tutoring and academic support to help children thrive.

In addition to her past work with Christian Homeschool Moms, Demetria is a seasoned digital marketer and the founder and CEO of Soul Podcasting Collective, a boutique podcasting agency that helps entrepreneurs amplify their voices through strategic, soulful storytelling. She is also the founder of the Christian Women Podcasters Network and the Soul Podcasting Circle, a Skool community that supports and connects faith-driven women in podcasting.

She lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with her husband, daughter, and their spunky Shih Tzu, Shaggy, who keeps life entertaining. Whether she’s recording a podcast, strategizing with clients, or creating new content, Demetria is committed to inspiring others through faith, education, and digital media.

What Makes This Space Unique?

Welcome to Christian Moms Café (the podcast)—a space created for women of faith navigating motherhood, life transitions, and the many layers of becoming.

What began as the Christian Homeschool Moms blog, homeschool podcast has grown into something deeper and more expansive as a Christian podcast for moms in general.

I’m a multi-passionate woman of faith who began homeschooling my daughters in 2007, long before it became widely embraced. In 2012, I created this platform to support homeschool moms with practical tools, encouragement, and a sense of community. Over the years, this space has become a living archive of my journey through motherhood, education, creativity, and calling.

But as the years passed—and as my own children began to grow into adulthood—I felt a quiet shift.

For several years, I’ve been prayerfully considering what it would look like to move beyond homeschool-only conversations and create a space that reflects the full scope of a woman’s life. Motherhood doesn’t exist in a vacuum—and neither do we.

Christian Moms Café is the result of that transition.

This is no longer just a space about how we educate our children.
It’s a space about how we live, grow, lead, and evolve as women of faith.

Pour up a cup of coffee or tea, and settle in.

Here, you’ll find thoughtful conversations, real-life reflections, and encouragement for every season—from raising children to releasing them, from building a home to rediscovering yourself, from quiet faith to bold next steps.

My prayer is that this space remains what it has always been at its core:
a place to pause, reflect, and be renewed—now with room to grow even wider.

A Note on Our Values & What This Space Is (and Is Not)

Christian Moms Café (formerly the Christian Homeschool Moms Podcast)  exists to encourage, support, and walk alongside women of faith from all backgrounds, cultures, and life experiences.

This is a space rooted in:

  • faith
  • humility
  • wisdom
  • and respect for the complexity of real life

We are committed to cultivating a community where women feel seen, safe, and supported—not judged, ranked, or confined.

As this platform has grown, so has our awareness of how easily faith spaces can be used to promote division, control, or exclusion. That is not what we are building here.

We do not align with political movements, partisan agendas, or ideologies that marginalize or silence others. Our approach to faith is grounded in grace, truth, and lived experience—with a deep respect for the dignity of all people.

What This Space Is About

  • Faith-centered conversations rooted in grace, growth, and real life
  • Encouragement for women navigating motherhood, midlife, and beyond
  • Honest dialogue about identity, purpose, relationships, and everyday rhythms
  • Support for women in all seasons—whether raising children, launching them, or rediscovering themselves

We welcome women across a wide range of life experiences, including:

  • Mothers in every stage of parenting
  • Women transitioning into new seasons of life and identity
  • Those building businesses, ministries, or creative pursuits
  • Women seeking a deeper, more grounded faith

There is no single “right way” presented here—only thoughtful, faith-filled exploration of what it means to live well and walk with God in today’s world.

What This Space Is Not About

To protect the integrity and spirit of this community, we intentionally avoid content that centers:

  • Political debate or partisan ideology
  • Messaging that dismisses or diminishes marginalized communities
  • Denominational arguments or theological division
  • Culture war conversations that create more heat than healing
  • One-size-fits-all approaches to parenting, education, or womanhood
  • Fear-based or control-driven narratives

There are many spaces for debate.
This is a space for growth, wisdom, and grounded conversation.

Our Commitment

Our heart is to walk alongside women with encouragement, honesty, and faith—creating space for both rooted belief and continued growth.

Whether you’ve been here since the homeschool days or you’re just finding your way to this new chapter, you are welcome here.

And as you engage with this space, we ask that you do so with the same spirit:

  • respect
  • openness
  • and a willingness to grow
