janis cox

In today’s homeschool podcast, I interview Janis Cox, an author and illustrator who has written over 100 poems, is an avid blogger, and has written a beautiful story for children called Tadeo Turtle.  You can see my full review of Tadeo Turtle in my previous blog post.

Before the interview, I gave a brief re-cap of happenings on the site:

  • Thanks, Rita Ann, for leaving me a message on SpeakPipe – we played it on today’s podcast!
  • Thanks to my Facebook friends for helping out with ideas about games we played in the 80’s! It’ll be featured on an upcoming article with The Homeschool Post!

We talked about:

  • How Janis Cox got started in writing
  • What inspired her to write the book
  • The different types of writing she has done
  • Other fun facts about Janis that you might want to know
  • Adventures ahead for the continuing saga of Tadeo Turtle
  • What she hopes children will learn from her book

I received this book copy free of charge in exchange for an honest review- either positive or negative.  I was not paid for this review, nor asked to give a positive review of this product.  All opinions are mine and are honest.  I am disclosing this in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission’s 16 CFR, Part 255.
