Listen to “CHM120: BACK from my PODCASTING BREAK!” on Spreaker.

In this episode, I share the reason I’ve stepped away from podcasting.

I want to make sure that in all my doing, in all my busyness, it is all for a strategic purpose. I wanted to ensure that my efforts are more meaningful to you, the listener, the viewer, and the reader.

Proverbs 4:7: Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.

If I have meaningful content to share, I want to make sure that I am sharing my best with you- not just churning out content for the sake of keeping up like on a hamster wheel. It was never my intention to create a busy life outside of my family without purpose. Whatever I do, it must be done with purpose and strategy.

And you are part of that purpose.

I want to serve you and give you the best possible resources I can to ensure you have the best homeschool experience as is possible for you.

Whatever I can do to help you on your journey- that’s what I aim to do.

Christian Homeschool Moms Podcast is back

WHERE HAVE I BEEN?

So many of you have reached out to me on other platforms like Instagram and YouTube and even by email to ask me if I’m still podcasting and blogging.

The answer is YES. Yay!

I love what I do and I can’t wait to continue.

Many of you who have been watching my YouTube channel know that I moved this summer and am preparing to move again in a few weeks. I also began tutoring at my daughter’s weekly homeschool group, Classical Conversations, and so needless to say…I got busier.

My goal while I was gone was to restructure my blog and make it a more meaningful experience for first-time guests while being more strategic about my own personal goals for the blog.

I had to first make a decision whether I would continue blogging about homeschooling because I had been running multiple blogs up to this point.

One of my favorites is Mompreneurs in Heels– a blog and podcast where I coach moms into creating their online businesses.

During this transitional season, I discovered that I didn’t need to necessarily split my time between both blogs because my heart still remains with supporting moms who have been called to minister to their children, raising them up for God, and providing support for moms like you and me.

All the while, I can also still help mamas who want a side hustle create their own online business, right here through Christian Homeschool Moms…so I decided to continue with my purpose here at CHM and focus my energy once again on this blog and podcast the Lord laid on my heart to begin back in 2012.

And I’m super happy to be back!

Please bear with me as I readjust a new season of podcast episodes to fit around my new life as a mom to a high school senior who is gearing up to graduate and a middle-schooler who just turned 12 years old this month. This might mean fewer interviews for the podcast initially and just more pep talks but I think this is a great time for me to build up my resource library for you all.

Speaking of resources, I have several videos available for you over at my channel, MomZest.

I hope that you will take time to head over there, click sub, and hit the bell.

While I have been missing from the podcasting scene for about six months now, I have been busy on YouTube creating content to share with you there.

If you aren’t already on my mailing list, I invite you to head over to Christian Homeschool Moms and sign up. You’ll receive a copy of my free ebook entitled Avoiding Homeschool Burnout.

And lastly, I wanted to make two announcements :

  1. I am now teaching classes over on Outschool for kids ages 3-8. If your kids love storytime, bring them to my class each week. I have one session open now called Storytime and Tea with Mrs. Dee and it runs through the month of December. Afterward starting in January, I plan to have it run weekly, so be sure to check the blog show notes for the link to my Outschool class and sign up your kids. I also have a Pre-K Circle Time available!
  2. Lastly, I wanted you to know that I have some exciting things coming up in the next week! I will be releasing my first-ever homeschool course just for moms of faith right before Christmas! Stay tuned for another episode in the upcoming week to find out how to grab this course just in time for the holidays.

That’s it for now, Loves.

Chat with you soon!! 🙂
